Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within the emergency department, assessing and managing patients with urgent healthcare needs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Functioning within the healthcare providers mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift. RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) / Patient Care Technicians (PCT) and Unit Secretaries.
• Required Qualifications: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; Ohio or Ohio Compact Registered Nurse license; 1+ years of Emergency Department experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must float to all units within skill level; profile requirements include work history and skills checklist pertinents to the specialty, current within 1 year. Submission requirements include active certifications and license documentation.
