Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN in North Austin Medical Center This position involves providing specialized nursing care to infants in a Level 3 NICU. The role requires a compassionate and skilled professional to support the unit's high-standard patient care environment on a 12-hour day shift schedule.
Job Details
- Location: North Austin Medical Center, Floor 2
- Shift: Days, 12 hours (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, 13-week contract
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), minimum 2 years Level 3 NICU experience, no specific education or degree requirements, no specific location requirement, minimum 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with travel nursing, familiar with medfusion pumps, Alaris, Giraffe isototes, GE monitors; friendly, outgoing, compassionate personality; previous NICU experience preferred
-Responsibilities: Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns, monitor vital signs, uphold safety standards, collaborate with healthcare team - Certifications: BLS, NRP
