Job Summary
The Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) position is located at a healthcare facility in Michigan. This role involves supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties, including orthopedics, neurology, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and endovascular/vascular procedures. The technician will assist with operating room procedures and ensure adherence to safety and clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys) required; physical copies of certifications must be listed in the profile.
- Education Requirements: Complete a skills checklist within one year of application for RN specialties.
- Experience Requirement: 2+ years of CST experience, with expertise in orthopedics, neurology, general surgery, Robot Xi, urology, GYN, and endovascular/vascular procedures; ENT experience preferred.
- Location Requirement: Michigan license verification.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Special Notes: A strict attendance policy is in effect; any absence or tardiness beyond three instances may result in immediate termination unless supported by documentation related to communicable disease or hospitalization.
- Additional Information: A skills checklist completed within one year of application is required; all other professionals outside of nursing are not required but preferred.
