Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia in an acute care setting. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of managing airway, post-procedure care, and complex patient needs within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS must have valid certifications with expiration dates.
• Education Requirements: Certified or licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
• Location Requirements: Must hold a current CA State Nurse license; Nursys verification within the past two weeks.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU in an acute care environment of similar size and complexity to the facility.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience with airway management, experience with central lines and post-procedure care, demonstrated knowledge of nursing processes addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological patient needs.
• Additional Information: Must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date. No separation time required for return staff/travelers.
• Responsibilities: Providing high-quality post-anesthesia care, managing airway and central lines, and addressing patient needs through the nursing process.
• Submission Requirements: Ensure all certifications are uploaded with valid expiration dates and references are obtained within the last year.
