Job Details

• Position Title: Medical Surgical Floor RN
• Location: (Location not specified in the data)
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice, BLS certification, 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months, maintaining clinical performance competencies as demonstrated through annual validations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing. Professional certification is preferred.
• Additional Responsibilities: Assesses patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Plans patient care, including discharge planning, based on assessment data and multidisciplinary input. Implements and coordinates nursing interventions, delegates appropriately, and documents care accurately. Evaluates patient responses and adjusts care plans accordingly. Participates in research activities, promotes growth of others, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.
• Coverages and Supervision: Does not have supervisory responsibilities but provides guidance to licensed and non-licensed staff as needed.
