Job Details

• Position Description: Travel RN for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a general hospital setting, focusing on critically ill pediatric patients with a capacity of 15 beds. The unit operates with a team of 38 staff members, including intensivists, RNs, RTs, and support staff, and features advanced equipment such as general critical care monitoring and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Required Qualifications: A licensed RN with current hospital PICU experience of at least 1 year, BLS and PALS certifications.
• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with IV starts, blood draws, TPT placements, and CRRT. A good personality fit includes the ability to work well under pressure and in a teaching hospital environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling pediatric patient care in a dynamic setting and adheres to unit policies and procedures.
