Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Fort Smith, AR. This position involves providing specialized care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery, strokes, and other critical conditions in a 16-bed acute care setting. The role emphasizes titrating cardiac drips, recognizing patient deterioration, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Specialty of Step Down Unit.
• Location: Fort Smith, AR.
• Shift: Nights.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Qualifications: Must have experience with Post Cardiovascular (CV) surgeries, Post Stroke care, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), Bipaps, utilizing Airvos, and recognizing patient deterioration.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Responsibilities include caring for post-op, cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, and stepdown patients, with a focus on compassionate, team-oriented care.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the minimum qualification criteria to be considered.
