Operating Room Open Heart Nurse San Antonio, TX This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac surgery patients in a busy hospital setting. The role requires a focus on patient safety, surgical support, and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Details

Certifications: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) no first assist certification required

- Preferred Qualifications: Heart experience, pediatric heart experience, intra-aortic balloon pump experience, adult heart transplant, cell saver, peripheral vascular, Meditech experience
- Procedures performed on unit include coronary artery bypass, surgical valve replacements, adult heart transplants, TAVR, pediatric hearts, thoracic/lung procedures, ventricular assist devices
- Unit policies include floating as needed and adherence to dress code and body art policies
