Job Details

Position: Operating Room Open Heart Nurse
Location: San Antonio, TX
Certifications: ACTIVE TEXAS REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE (temporary licenses will NOT be accepted)
Specialty: OR (Operating Room) / Open Heart
Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Type of Experience Required: 0 years minimum experience, but candidates with specific skills are preferred
Documentation System: Meditech
Additional Responsibilities: Care for patients undergoing coronary artery bypass, surgical valve replacements, adult heart transplants, TAVI, pediatric hearts, thoracic/lung procedures, ventricular assist devices
Procedures Performed: Coronary artery bypass, surgical valve replacements, adult heart transplants, TAVI, pediatric hearts, thoracic/lung procedures, VADs
Preferred Skills: Heart experience, pediatric heart experience, intra-aortic balloon pump experience, cell saver, peripheral vascular work, Meditech experience
Floating Policy: As needed
