Labor and Delivery Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care to women in labor, delivery, and postpartum, demonstrating safe practice within the professional practice model. The position requires collaboration with the inter-professional healthcare team to ensure patient-centered and evidence-based care across the continuum.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: BSN degree, current California RN License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), minimum of 0 years of experience in labor and delivery or high-risk antepartum care.
- Preferred Qualifications: L&D or high-risk antepartum experience.
- Additional Information: The nurse will operate clinical equipment proficiently, assist and guide unlicensed assistive personnel as per the California Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies, and participate in clinical practice evaluation and safety initiatives. The role involves patient and family-centered care, evidence-based practice, safety, and teamwork.
