This staffing opportunity involves providing specialized nursing care in a medical-surgical orthopedic unit. The role requires supporting patients recovering from procedures such as total knee and hip replacements, as well as managing various other acute conditions within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of nursing experience; valid nursing license to submit; ability to pass/Fail exam during orientation with a 90% passing requirement; location within 50 miles of the facility; no full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with associated healthcare facilities within the past year.
• Additional Responsibilities: Conduct hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, and support patient care activities. Candidates must be flexible, self-directed, and comfortable with unit-specific protocols.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting systems; familiarity with orthopedic patient populations.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit licensing verification and meet all orientation prerequisites.
