Description
Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) with Open Heart specialty in the location. This position involves providing advanced perioperative care in a high-volume surgical environment, supporting procedures including CABG, valves, dissections, thoracotomies, and carotid endarterectomies. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS certifications; minimum three years of OR experience in open heart procedures; valid license to submit; location specific.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with call coverage on weekday evenings and weekends, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Assist with high-acuity cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, scrub for cases, and support patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Additional Information: Scrub color/dress code: Provided scrubs. Units utilize EPIC electronic medical records system. Hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
