Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse, California This position involves providing specialized telemetry nursing care within a high-acuity environment. The role requires flexibility to float between units and facilities, delivering quality patient care to a diverse and complex patient population.

Job Details:

• Position: Telemetry Nurse
• Location: California (float pool position based at one facility with required float to another nearby location)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; 2+ years of nursing experience in a telemetry or acute care setting; experience with drips such as amiodarone, cardizem, and heparin; ability to read strips; RN License issued in the state of California
• Additional Information: Nurses must have a positive attitude, demonstrate compassion, and be capable of managing a high-acuity patient population with limited resources. Experience with chest tubes is preferred. Floating to other units such as MedSurg, Telemetry, or ER may be required. Orientation includes one shift at the home unit and additional unit-specific shifts.
• Flexibility in floating to multiple units including the tele, medical-surgical, or emergency room is expected during the assignment.
• Shifts may be canceled up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
