Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) needed in the Labor and Delivery Department. This position involves managing patient care from admission to discharge in a high-volume facility, with responsibilities centered on ensuring safe, compassionate, and efficient maternal and neonatal care. The role requires working on night shifts with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with on-call duties as needed.
Job Details
- Position Description: Labor and Delivery RN needed to provide comprehensive nursing care for obstetric patients, including antepartum and postpartum care, high-risk deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation. The role involves applying nursing principles within established policies and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Required Qualifications: CA RN license, ACLS, AWHONONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification, BLS, NRP certification, at least 2+ years of experience working in labor and delivery, and travel experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Able to assist with high-risk deliveries, fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and sterile procedures. Must have experience with adult cardiac arrest, antepartum care, labor management, and postpartum care. Candidates should be comfortable with using electronic fetal monitoring devices, assist with vaginal deliveries, and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Submittal Requirements: Candidates must upload valid Nursys license within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications with expiration dates, and two references within the past year.
