Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse, ER - Galax, VA. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a 13-bed Emergency Department serving all ages. The role focuses on delivering critical patient support in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety and clinical protocols.

Job Details

• Location: Galax, VA
• Shift: Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Virginia RN licensure, AHA - ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC, PALS, TNCC, ENPC certifications, and at least 2 years of ER/Trauma and Critical Care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ER/Trauma, common diagnoses such as sepsis, CHF, chest pain, stroke, DKA, trauma.
• Responsibilities: Providing emergency care for diverse patient populations, managing critical cases including sepsis, stroke, trauma, and other urgent conditions.
• Schedule details: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, starting 11/09/2026, ending 02/08/2027.
• Additional information: Must have experience in ER/Trauma, critical care; occasional float to ICU may be required; dress code is scrubs in blue or black.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must possess all required certifications prior to start.
