The position involves caring for adult complex surgical patients, including those with medical illnesses, within a closed ICU model supported by advanced practice providers, surgical teams, and consultants. The role requires managing critically ill patients in a dynamic environment.
Job Details
- Location: Medical facility (generalized location)
- Position: ICU Medical / Medical/Surgical ICU
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: License and certification verification, professional resume, references, skills checklist, candidate submission coversheet.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Responsibilities: Care for adult complex surgical and medical ICU patients, including burn patients and acutely ill medical patients, under a multidisciplinary team in a closed ICU model supported by 24/7 in-house ICU staff physicians, APPs, residents, and critical care fellows.
- Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts with weekends and holidays required
- Additional Information: No burn experience required; the unit cares for a variety of critically ill adult patients with a broad spectrum of medical and surgical needs. The start date is 12/27/2026, with an end date of 03/27/2027.
