Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Night Shift Location: Not Specified
This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a dedicated intensive care setting. It requires a highly skilled professional to ensure the safety and well-being of young patients during night shifts, with scheduled hours from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current IL license, BLS, PALS, 3 years of PICU experience.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Experience Requirements: 3 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit settings.
- Responsibilities include delivering advanced clinical nursing care, monitoring critical patient conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Additional Information: Experience in tertiary level Pediatric Intensive Care Units is required. The position involves every other weekend, with potential adjustments to weekend coverage based on staffing needs.
- Submission Requirements: Current resume, two references from a PICU supervisor within the past year, proof of successful completion of one travel contract, skills checklist within the last year, and verification of Illinois license credentials are required to be submitted by Thursday before the start date.
