Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) Adult Operating Room The organization is seeking a dedicated Certified Operating Room Technician to join the surgical team in the adult operating room. This position involves supporting a variety of general surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and operational efficiency.

Job Details

Position Description: Support the adult operating room team in performing a wide range of surgical procedures including general surgery, surgical oncology, gynecology, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, plastics, burn, urology, podiatry, and colo-rectal surgeries. The unit has 22 Operating Rooms with a staff of 120, offering 24-hour in-house coverage during day shifts.
Certifications/Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Start Date: 11/09/2026.
End Date: 02/08/2027.
Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) certification, BLS, ACLS, no specific experience requirement, and availability for 12-hour day shifts.
Additional Information: The role may include rotating on-call shifts, typically two 8-hour shifts per month, supporting the units operation within established policies and guidelines.
