Job Summary
A registered nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in the healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients, ensuring high-quality service in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. The nurse will utilize specialized knowledge and judgment to deliver patient-centered care across a variety of health conditions.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a registered nurse in the specialty area.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Formulates a plan of care based on assessment data and patient input, then implements and evaluates nursing interventions. The role includes documentation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patient education, and involvement in quality improvement activities. May supervise staff and workflows, and interacts with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote effective and safe care.
