Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as delivering health teaching and counseling to support patient well-being.

Job Details

• Position involves performing clinical nursing duties in an ER setting, including health data assessment, health teaching, and therapy and treatment planning.
• Education: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing is required; Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensure: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS, PALS, or NRP as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include executing delegated medical functions, monitoring treatment plans, referring patients as needed, and maintaining proper documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs.
• May be placed on-call during scheduled shift.
• Submission requirements include current licensure and certifications, along with ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
