Job Summary
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Torrance, CA. This position involves providing specialized care for patients in a skilled nursing facility focused on rehabilitation and short-term acute treatment. The role includes managing a variety of patient diagnoses across a dedicated 87-bed unit, with a focus on enhancing recovery and functional independence.

Job Details

  • Position Description: LTAC RN responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care in a sub-acute rehabilitation setting within a skilled nursing facility. The unit accommodates adult and geriatric patients requiring specialized rehabilitative support.
  • Certifications & Education Requirements: BCLS certification, valid and active nursing license in the state of California or equivalent compact license, at least one year of RN experience in a long-term acute care or similar setting.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: 1 year of RN experience, certification in BCLS, active nursing license, and experience in charting systems.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be flexible to float between units as needed, including among nearby facilities, to meet operational needs. Acceptance of a block schedule is not required, but adherence to the workload and schedule is essential.
  • Submission Requirements: Must include responses to previous work at Providence facilities and two references covering a one-year period within the last three years.
