Medical Surgical Floor RN Nights Overview: Located in the specified area, this role involves providing comprehensive nursing care for surgical patients across the full continuum of care. The candidate will perform thorough assessments, deliver appropriate patient care, and ensure accurate documentation in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role requires assessment skills, clinical skills, and proficiency in documentation. The RN will perform direct patient care activities, demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures, and provide patient education supporting quality outcomes.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred, RN license, minimum of 1 year experience, located in the specified area.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• The RN will support pre-operative and postoperative assessments, evaluate PAT orders, and ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.
• The candidate should demonstrate professionalism, patient satisfaction, safety practices, and unit-specific knowledge relating to surgical patients and procedures.
• Additional responsibilities include supporting patient testing in a timely manner and assessing patient understanding of surgical instructions.
