Job Summary
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Specialist position is based in the labor and delivery department. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring patient safety and comfort through expert clinical practices. The position requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards, utilizing specialized nursing skills and knowledge.

Job Details

  • Certifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or equivalent, BLS certification required.
  • Education Requirements: No specific degree requirement listed; experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is preferred.
