Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for obstetric patients in a Labor & Delivery unit, with a focus on managing high-risk antepartum and labor cases. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 11/09/2026
End Date: 02/08/2027
Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current valid license as an Registered Nurse; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association; 0 years of experience required.
Unit Information: Labor & Delivery unit with 19 beds, 55 staff members, and specialized equipment including electronic medical records systems.
Patient Care Responsibilities: Circulation for C-sections, managing high-risk antepartum cases, labor support, COVID patient management in labor, antepartum, and OBED units.
Required Skills: Ability to manage high-risk antepartum and labor patients; experience with C-sections and labor management; team-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
Preferred Skills: Advanced fetal monitor (FM) experience.
Additional Information: Candidates without the specified skills will not be considered. The role includes working approximately four weekend shifts per month, with mandatory weekend work and no on-call requirements.
