Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse - Telemetry - Location: Washington
This position involves providing high-quality care within the telemetry unit of a healthcare facility. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with cardiovascular issues, including continuous monitoring and administering treatments as required, primarily at a large medical center with floating opportunities across multiple regional facilities.

Job Details

Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience required; licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Washington; minimum experience requirement: 0 years.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, full time, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs via telemetry, titrating drips such as insulin, heparin, nitro, dobutamine, dopamine, and Cardizem, and documenting care in accordance with hospital policy.
Ability to float to different units within the region as assigned, including various medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Additional requirements include completing unit-specific orientation (4 hours per unit) and adhering to dress code and break policies.
Candidates must have the ability to read telemetry strips and titrate medication up to prescribed maximums.
This role is primarily at a designated hospital but includes the necessity to float across regional facilities as needed during the assignment.
