Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse in New Jersey. This role involves evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care in a perioperative setting. The position requires developing and coordinating individualized plans of care for patients recovering from anesthesia, performing therapeutic interventions, and documenting care accurately to support clinical priorities.

Job Details

• Position requires at least 2 years of nursing experience in critical care environments with expertise in the care of ventilated patients.
• Certifications needed include BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• Valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.
• Education required is ASN; BSN preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Experience in telemetry and recent PACU, preoperative, and recovery experience are highly preferred.
• Must be tele certified.
• Additional responsibilities include working in other preoperative and PACU positions within the perioperative service when needed.
• Candidates must be able to work in a hybrid preoperative/postoperative environment and adapt to the facility's operational needs.
