Job Summary
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in College Station, TX. This role involves coordinating patient care within a hospital inpatient and outpatient setting, utilizing professional nursing standards to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. The RN will promote safe passage for patients by employing clinical judgment and knowledge of healthcare practices.

Job Details

• Certifications/Degrees/Experience: RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification; at least 2 years of IMCU experience required; no minimum experience specified; located in College Station, TX.
• Schedule: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: This role involves working in hospital inpatient and outpatient procedural areas such as GI lab, pain management, dialysis, infusion centers, and IV services. The position requires weekend shifts and on-call availability. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, therapeutic communication, and collaboration skills, along with a solid understanding of nursing standards and patient safety practices. Submission of a valid nursing license, BLS, and ACLS certifications is required for consideration.
