Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Overland Park, KS. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy trauma center, with a focus on trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis care. The position requires a dedicated professional with experience in trauma nursing.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of 2 years experience as an emergency/trauma nurse in a level 2 trauma center; ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC; preferred certification: CEN or TCRN.
• Schedule: Shift from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Position involves performing procedures associated with a level 2 trauma center, including trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage.
• Use of AIDET, whiteboards, and positive attitude culture is expected.
• Use of Level 1 fluid warmer, GE monitor system, Artic sun, Lifepak, Alaris pumps, and Meditech documentation system on unit.
• Rare floating policy, only if other staff have been flexed home.
• Dress code: cobalt blue top and black or cobalt blue pants, solid color, closed toe shoes.
• Start date: 11/02/2026; end date: 02/01/2027.
