Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse [Location]
This role involves providing specialized critical care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients in a multidisciplinary ICU setting. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care utilizing advanced technology and clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: RN license required, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institutes NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course) required, Cerner experience required, 2 years ICU acute care experience required.
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Care for critically ill neurological, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, and trauma patients using ventilators, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial and central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and infusion pumps. Fulfill patient care needs in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory standards.
• Additional Information: Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility. CPI certification is required, with a focus on physical skills training.
