Job Summary
The healthcare organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in a medical facility. This role involves assisting surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and supporting various surgical procedures across multiple specialties. The position requires a committed professional to deliver high-quality perioperative care.
Job Details
- Certifications Required: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), High School diploma, NBSTSA certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating room setting.
- Location Requirements: Must live 100 miles away from the assignment site.
- Schedule: Days shift with four 10-hour shifts from 06:30 during Monday-Friday workweek. The work schedule includes 10 call shifts per month, which may include weekends.
- Responsibilities include planning and preparing for surgical procedures, assisting surgeons, sterilizing surgical equipment, and assembling emergency and scheduled case carts.
- Additional Details: Good communication skills are essential.
