Job Details

• Position Description: Labor and Delivery RN needed for days shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) License, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced Certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include assessment and planning of patient care, providing bedside care in accordance with hospital policies and evidence-based practices, and maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. The RN will monitor patient responses, document care in the electronic health record, and serve as a resource for staff and patients. Prior experience with labor and delivery procedures and certifications are essential, including administration of medications such as Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin, use of fetal monitoring equipment, and neonatal resuscitation.
