Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse specializing in orthopedic and general surgical care is sought for a facility in Cape Coral. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a 40-bed unit, supporting patient recovery and ensuring best practices in patient safety and comfort. The role requires working night shifts and collaborating within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Staffing for a 40-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on orthopedic and general surgical patients.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); degree accreditation verification or five years of clinical experience; minimum of 2 years PCU experience; valid RN license; successful completion of background and credential checks; must meet demographic data requirements (full address, email, date of birth, social security number, RN license number).
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit operates with patient ratios of 4:1, potentially flexing to 6:1 depending on staffing and patient acuity. Floating to other facilities or units may be required. All requested demographic data must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO (Requests for Time Off) are accepted after submission. Travelers are expected to integrate fully into the unit and function as core staff.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
