Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in Palm Springs, CA. This role involves providing direct clinical care to patients within the emergency department, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, and supervision of staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The position requires flexibility to float to other care levels as needed.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, experience with Cerner electronic medical record system, and 0 years of clinical experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in emergency or progressive care units is beneficial
• Additional Information: The RN will assess, plan, and implement direct patient care for approximately 29 beds in the emergency department. Responsibilities include supervising staff, supporting the facility Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining high standards of care, and floating to PCU, Telemetry, and Medsurg units if necessary.
