The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a 48-bed observation unit in a healthcare facility. This role involves closely monitoring patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position is based in a facility that values clinical excellence and team integration.
Job Details
- Position: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse
- Location: Gulf Coast Medical Center (General healthcare provider setting)
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, 2+ years of PCU experience, degree accreditation on profile, and appropriate state licensure.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Floating required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses. All required demographic information (address, email, full date of birth, full Social Security number, RN license number) must be loaded at submission. RTO must be on submission, with no approval after submission. Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start. The culture emphasizes team integration and functioning as core staff.
