The position offers opportunities to float across multiple units, including MedSurg and critical care, accommodating diverse patient needs in a dynamic environment.

Job Details

• Position: Telemetry (TELE) Nurse
• Location: Not specified (within a 50-mile radius) in an acute care setting
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required
• Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current telemetry nursing experience; licensed to practice in the state of assignment; no specific degree required
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, 48 hours per week
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts with a preceptor
• Experience or Skills: Must pass a cardiac rhythm exam; experience with reading and interpreting telemetry strips; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, float to multiple units including MedSurg, Telemetry, and Critical Care
• Additional Qualifications: Ability to float to units such as 6N and 7N; experience with common diagnoses like CHF, pneumonia, COPD, oncology, and post-cardiac procedures preferred
