Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist in an acute care setting. This position involves performing and assisting with cardiac invasive procedures, including peripheral, carotid, and EVAR interventions, in a Level 2 Trauma Center. The role requires clinical expertise and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association; Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience; valid license to submit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac invasive procedures, peripheral and carotid interventions, and EVAR.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts with generally a 7:00 AM start; rotating assignments with call required every other weekend, response time 30 minutes; weeknight and holiday call rotations.
• Additional Information: Candidates must complete the Dyslexia exam through Relias within 24-48 hours prior to signing the contract, with acceptable results documented. Candidates who do not scrub suites or labs may be considered. The role involves participation in over 8 procedures per day, primarily IR and Cath lab cases, with no involvement in structural heart procedures or dirty procedures like PEGs and G tube insertions.
