Job Summary
The Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the healthcare team at the healthcare provider. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing individual care plans, and implementing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes in an outpatient clinic setting. This position is located in a supportive environment committed to providing high-quality care to oncology patients.

Job Details

  • Position Description: The Registered Nurse in this role is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing patient and family education in a medical surgical oncology outpatient clinic.
  • Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN, ASN, AAS, AAN); Current Montana Licensure Registered Nurse (RN); Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; knowledge of electronic health record operating systems; 0 years of experience.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Position requires regular and sustained attendance. The role may include working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN, BAN); Oncology Certified Nurse; outpatient clinic experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain a professional demeanor; learn current and new computer applications; strong interpersonal and communication skills; analyze, organize, and prioritize work; uphold the facility's values of Service, People, Integrity, Respect, Improvement, and Teamwork.
