Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Missoula, MT. This position involves providing specialized care for pediatric patients in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role requires working night shifts at a busy pediatric unit within a healthcare facility dedicated to delivering expert and compassionate care close to home.

Job Details

Position Description: The PICU Nurse will be responsible for delivering pediatric patient care in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, supporting both adult and pediatric treatments with advanced medical technology.
Required Qualifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; at least 2 years of PICU experience; valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric intensive care nursing; located within 60 miles or greater from the facility; 2+ years of clinical experience.
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The selected candidate will need to have experience working in a pediatric intensive care setting, demonstrating the ability to manage complex patient needs and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 or 2:1.
