Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing postoperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, with scheduling primarily during evening shifts. The role requires flexibility to accommodate variable start times and may involve floating to different areas within the facility.

Job Details

• Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in PACU or related setting
• Location Requirements: Must hold or be pending licensure accepted in the state, with a local radius of 50 miles and a valid license in hand at submission
• Shift Schedule: Evenings, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
• Additional Information: Candidate must be flexible with start times, willing to stay for the entire day if scheduled for PACU, and prepared for variable shifts. Candidates should also be comfortable floating to different units within the organization as needed, and be able to work one call shift per week. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
• Responsibilities: Providing postoperative patient care, managing anatomy-specific needs, and participating in interdisciplinary support activities such as respiratory services and radiology. Special procedures like regional blocks, neurovascular management, and different post-op protocols may be involved.
