Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) NurseLos Angeles, CA. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the ICU according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The position requires supervising and directing nursing staff activities, collaborating with healthcare teams, and utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment to promote patient safety and well-being.
Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a care plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes, implements the plan, and evaluates progress. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provides education; participates in discharge planning; delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members; performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates should be available to start on 10/26/2026 and work through 01/24/2027.
