Job Details

• Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D)
• Location: Green Bay, WI
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN with BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications; Level 3 OB experience, labor experience most preferred; circulate c sections preferred; LDRP experience; First-time traveler acceptable; 2+ years of experience most preferred
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Patient Types: All gestational ages, antepartum, mother-baby, labor, and delivery; no gynecological surgeries
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 active labor, 1:2 laboring, 1:3-4 couplets
• Support on the Unit: Charge nurse rarely takes a patient load, Techs: 2 for the whole floor, Nurse draw labs, OB available 24/7, in-house anesthesia, Lactation RN during day shift
• Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, bedside and nurse station monitors including FHM and telemetry
• Orientation: General hospital orientation, 1 shift with a preceptor on the unit
• Floating: Travelers float first Gyn/mother-baby overflow
• No Call; up to 7 days off can be approved
• Scheduling: Every 6 weeks cycle, schedule provided at least 2 weeks in advance
