Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) RN position in a Level II Trauma Center. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, with a focus on adult and adolescent patients. The position requires a proactive, quick learner capable of scrubbing on complex cardiovascular cases and floating to general OR as needed.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR, PALS; WA license required.
• Education/Experience: Minimum of 1 year of perioperative nursing experience, including cardiovascular/Thoracic procedures.
• Schedule: 4X10 day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include scrubbed participation in procedures such as CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, minimally invasive cardiac surgeries, and other advanced thoracic and general surgeries.
• Willingness to scrub singularly on cardiothoracic cases and assist with learning new skills is essential.
• Call requirement: At least 10 call shifts per month, with up to 2 weekends per month.
• Must be able to float to general OR, if needed.
• Candidates should include responses regarding prior experience at a facility, references covering the last 1 year (6 months for CNOR), and availability for the start date of 11/02/2026.
• Must have a compact license in hand at submission, with a local radius of 50 miles.
