Description
Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Department located in the specified region is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to support the high-risk obstetric population. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients from 20 weeks and above with conditions such as hypertension, multiples, diabetes, and substance abuse, within a busy, high-acuity setting.
Job Details:
- Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/02/2026 through 02/01/2027
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiology Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM); current license to submit; minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery with high-risk deliveries, including familiarity with Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and experience with high-risk obstetric conditions; experience with circulating, scrubbing preferred
- Additional Information: Ability to assist with high-risk deliveries, familiarity with emergency procedures, prompt response to acute situations, and adherence to unit-specific protocols are required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Charting System: Cerner
