Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Located in the healthcare organizations outpatient facility, this position involves delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN supervises nursing staff and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
- Education and Experience: 0 years of experience required; interest in 16-26 week assignment preferred.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Position Role: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops individual care plans, and initiates discharge planning. Provides patient education and ensures effective communication regarding patient status changes.
- Responsibilities include supervising ancillary nursing personnel, maintaining safety standards, and participating in team activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Additional clinical duties involve accurate documentation, clinical decision support, and ongoing professional development.
- Submission requirement: Candidates must be BLS certified prior to start; ACLS certification is required if applicable.
