Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Sweetwater County this position involves providing bedside nursing care to Med Surg patients across various ages. The role requires managing medications and equipment, with the flexibility to float to other units such as emergency room, postpartum, and step-down care, ensuring comprehensive patient support within an acute care setting.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Bedside staff registered nurse responsible for managing Medsurg patients of all ages using equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Hill-rom beds, call systems, Kangaroo pumps, and Pyxis medication systems.
• Minimum Qualifications: Wyoming registered nurse license, at least 2 years of Med Surg experience, BLS and PALS certifications.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes HR and education day 1, restraint training day 2, with a shadow shift followed by work. On-call may be necessary during low census periods, and weekends are required. The unit comprises 20 rooms with 35 beds, with nurse to patient ratios typically of 1:5, occasionally 1:6 during emergent surgeries. Charting system: Cerner.
