Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB) Sioux City, Iowa. This position involves providing specialized care on a medical surgical rehabilitation unit, supporting patient recovery and functional improvement. It requires a dedicated healthcare professional to work night shifts, contributing to an interdisciplinary team within a Level 3 Trauma Center environment.

Job Details

Position Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the healthcare professional contributes professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of care to patients on the medical surgical rehabilitation floor.
Required Qualifications: Iowa or Iowa compact nursing license, BLS (AHA preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), ACLS (AHA preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), PALS (AHA preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), active drivers license, and at least 1 year of previous rehab experience and med surg experience.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level 3 Trauma Center, prior float experience within the same discipline across local campuses, supervisory reference within the last two years, and completion of the required skills checklist specific to the discipline.
Additional Information: The assignment begins on 11/09/2026 and ends on 02/08/2027. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on drivers license. The role requires working 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day) and every other weekend. Travel and orientation policies apply, with specific submission requirements including a supervisory reference form.
