Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Paris, TX. This position involves providing high-quality perioperative care to adult and pediatric orthopedic patients in a Level 3 Trauma and Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center. The role requires collaboration within a busy surgical environment and adherence to hospital protocols to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); current licensure as a Registered Nurse; at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience; no specific education requirement listed; must be 60 miles or greater from the facility.
• Additional Information: Unit specializes in orthopedic care, handling adult and pediatric patients with fractures and related treatments. Experience with traction equipment and Meditech electronic health records is preferred. The role involves working every other weekend and requires float rotation, with the possibility of being required to float to other units as needed.
