The organization is seeking a Contract, Registered Nurse specialized in Bone Marrow Transplant, Oncology, and Hematology for a facility in Indianapolis. This role involves providing patient care on a dedicated Bone Marrow Transplant unit, with responsibilities including blood administration, electrolyte replacement, neuro assessments, and chemotherapy. The position offers a dynamic clinical environment with a focus on long-term patient management.

Job Details

• Position: Contract, Registered Nurse Bone Marrow Transplant, Oncology/Hematology
• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed, 36 hours guaranteed weekly
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification; preferred ACLS, ONS chemotherapy immunotherapy certificate; Experience is negotiable; experience in critical care, stepdown, or oncology preferred
• Responsibilities include blood administration, electrolyte replacement, neuro assessments, central line dressing changes, high-risk drug administration, and long-term IV therapy
• Will float to like units including stepdown, critical care, and oncology as needed, which may include acute care specialties
• Equipment used includes vents, Alaris pumps, Phillips monitors, Stryker beds, Sara Steady, patient lifts
• EMR systems used include EPIC and Beacon
• Candidates should demonstrate team orientation, initiative, patient-centered attitude, and respectfulness.
