Job Details

• Position Description: General Comments: Unit information includes 6 Front Telemetry, Med Surg, Trauma.
• Location: Richmond, VA.
• Shift Time: Nights.
• Shift Hours: 12 hours.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS; Educational requirements include relevant nursing degree; Location must be within the service region; Experience requirement: 0 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on Medical Surgical units; Excellent patient focus; High energy; Positive attitude.
• Typical Procedures: Small I&Ds, Peritoneal Dialysis, Thoracentesis (not very often).
• Additional Information: Hospital of the future featuring modern amenities such as interactive whiteboards, virtual sitter rooms, upcoming renovations, and Level I trauma designation. The unit maintains a busy, dynamic environment with diverse patient care activities.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be qualified and available to start on 11/09/2026, with an expected end date of 02/08/2027.
