Job Summary

Registered Nurse Telemetry. The position provides care for adult patients requiring cardiac telemetry and progressive care/step-down monitoring. The role includes management of cardiac drips, pre- and post-procedure care, and telemetry-based assessment during night shifts.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a valid California license; minimum of 2 years of cardiac telemetry or progressive care/step-down experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; experience with amiodarone, heparin, diltiazem, and dopamine drips.
Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holidays as needed; no call required.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include cardiac telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, heparin protocol management, pacemaker care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, intravenous therapy, phlebotomy, wound care, and care before and after cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, coronary artery bypass grafting, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, cardiac angiography, and myocardial infarction. The position serves adult patients.
